12 Straight Shots is a photo series that takes an open and honest look at people in their own homes or in surroundings they feel comfortable in. A peek behind the curtain in to the lives of musicians, artists, performers…humans.
Inspired by Magnum contact sheets, in a time when perfect instagram images reign supreme, I want to show the underexposed, the out of focus shots, the happy accidents and the train of thought behind getting ‘the shot’.
Over a cup of tea and a chat I shoot just one roll of 120 film (12 shots) on my trusty Rolleiflex. However these 12 shots come out I will show them as a series of 12 images straight out the camera, no edits.
